An Optimized Carrier Phase-Shifted Modulation Strategy for Cuk PV Inverter

There exists the problems of output voltage zero-point drift and high even harmonic content three-phase Cuk liftable photovoltaic (PV) inverter when it adopts conventional carrier modulation method. In view these, a new optimized Phase-Shifted Pulse Width Modulation (PSPWM) strategy is proposed. Firstly, optimal zero-sequence component determined based on topology control objectives. Next, injected into sinusoidal signal used as modulating so that pulse width equivalent to space vector modulation. Finally, waveforms are blended in superior manner, logical operation applied generate required switching drive signals for tubes. order verify effectiveness strategy, simulation experimental platforms were constructed, numerous simulations experiments done. The results show can solve zero problem effectively, suppress harmonics meanwhile, mainly concentrated near primary frequency, which significantly reduces total greatly improves waveform. addition, be achieved by reducing one signal, thus simplifying process design digital system.
